Floral Summer Dress

This cute floral print chiffon dress has an empire waist, gathered puffed sleeves and is fully lined, a great find for work or that casual summer garden party. It's currently posted on ebay.

Little Black Dress

This was going to the theater night!
Black and gold are always a classic combination. The simple black dress with large gold hoop earrings, a gold cuff bracelet, and a gold scarf accentuated the gold trim in the shoes. Easy to put together but great looking. All items were thrifted except the shoes, "Ross".

Purple Suede Embellished Shoes

Bohemian Dress

This is actually a silky sundress with a lightweight shrug type sweater and velvet shawl/scarf. It's comfortable but has a very romantic feel.

Versatility and Attitude!

I liked this dress with a shirred bodice, when I saw it, but had no idea how versatile it could be. The neutral color works well with my wardrobe of black pieces. This is great weekend dressy. When you want to look put together but the thought of wearing heels on your day off is completely unmotivating. Both the grey sheer dress and the black cotton jacket are thrift store finds.

Polka Dotted Pants

These pants are one of my favorite pair because of the polka dots. The boxy jacket is loose and in keeping with the casual feel of the pants, which are trouser styled and rolled up to just above the ankles because I didn't feel like hemming and ended up loving the way they looked. Both pieces came from the thrift store.

Hand-worked Metal-Original Art

This piece is my original artwork, hand-worked in metal. This artform is popular in Mexico and is known as "Repujado". The metal is worked from both sides with tools and then painted with transparent paints. I will be posting this piece for sale on my Etsy site at www.normalindastudios.etsy.com

Crisp Little Summer Dress

Cool and comfortable white cotton dress with embroidered flowers in the fabric. Made of white cotton with black trim around the neck and armholes, the dress has a full-length back zipper and falls right below the knee. Size 10

Dotted Green Chiffon Top

This is a really pretty green and white, dotted chiffon top. It has a convertible collar and is long enough that you could wear it as a pool cover-up. Original Art Tee

Red Plaid Bowed Flats

This is the first pair of shoes in my new line called "Bow Peeps". These previously owned flats are red plaid and have a black grosgrain bow center front. All of the shoes in this line are embellished with bows and other embellishments as my creativity dictates. This is a casual look for the office, that still has "Business" written all over it. The gathered patterned skirt and loose lightweight sweater can cover figure flaws while looking sharp and pulled together. Notice how the long necklace pulls everything together. Again all items are from the thrift store, except the shoes and the necklace, at a cost of less than $10. Adding in the expense of the shoes (Ross $15) and the black chain and bead necklace (Target $14.99) Around $40.

One of my favorite looks is "Menswear", and these pants are actually men's wool pants with pleats and pockets, and the jacket is nicely fitted to accentuate the waist and control the fullness of the pants. Worn with a sturdy yet very cute pump.

A Little French Flair!

This is a great casual look with a slightly polished edge. The striped tee and neckscarf work well with the beret to give the Parisienne feel. All items except the boots are from the thrift store. Total cost of this outfit @ 15.00.
